About
The business's collaborative workspace — Notion and Slack in one, for people and for the OS's agents as members of the same rooms: spaces holding pages built from blocks, a wiki with owners and verification, databases with typed properties and six views (relations and rollups included), and channels with threads, reactions, pins, saved items, scheduled messages and reminders; direct and group messages; one search across all of it; page history; comments; a public page door; Markdown and Notion imports, Markdown/HTML/CSV exports. Agents are @mentioned and DM'd and answer in the thread through the kernel's chat endpoint; the Librarian keeps the wiki honest. A default of every install.
This is an application of the MaluDB Business OS. It runs on your office's server, not on a desktop. People open it from the OS launcher after a super-admin grants them access; on an enrolled MaluOS Desktop it also appears in the MaluApps window as a launcher.
Install
Installed by default
- This is one of the four default applications. A fresh kernel install adds it with:
sudo bin/install_default_applications.sh --by <super-admin email> --domain <domain>
On a MaluDB Business OS server
- Sign in to the OS as a super-admin and note the domain the kernel serves.
sudo git clone https://github.com/maludb/maludb-os-spaces /srv/apps/spacesphp /var/www/bin/app_install.php plan /srv/apps/spaces --by <super-admin email> --domain <domain>- Read the plan. It is read-only and lists the database, virtual host, services and agent the installer will create.
sudo php /var/www/bin/app_install.php apply /srv/apps/spaces --by <super-admin email> --domain <domain>- The application appears in the launcher for everyone who is granted access, and its expert agent is hired in Agent HR.
