About
The kernel of the MaluDB Business OS: the estate (buildings, offices, desks), departments and people, the AI agent workforce (hiring, prompts, skills, tool grants, runs and a token ledger), single sign-on and the directory API for business applications, approvals and AI Ops. It runs no business application itself; the applications on this site plug into it through a published integration contract and are signed in by it.
Every business application here needs a kernel. Install it on a MaluOS server with one package, or on a MaluDB hosting VM with the dockerized installer.
What it does
- One sign-in for every business application
- Hire, version and activate AI agents with a human manager each
- Approvals for consequential actions
- Every model call in a prompt ledger with monthly statements
- Directory API and MCP servers for applications
Install
On MaluOS Server
- The business-os metapackage brings the kernel, the MaluDB API and their configuration.
sudo apt update && sudo apt install maluos-business-os- The first boot provisions the database, the tenant and the services. Then bootstrap the first super-admin:
sudo php /var/www/bin/bootstrap_organizer.php
Dockerized, on a MaluDB hosting VM
git clone https://github.com/maludb/maludb-os-docker && cd maludb-os-dockersudo ./host-install.sh- The installer asks for the first super-admin, the provider keys and the domain, then installs the kernel with Help Desk and Spaces.
Not on MaluOS? Add the repository first: curl -fsSL https://apt.maluos.com/bootstrap/install-maluos.sh | sudo bash. Packages are signed with the MaluOS archive key; how to verify.
