About
The kitchen's and the bar's stock desk: what the restaurant buys, in the units it buys, counts and cooks it in; recipes with sub-recipes and yields so every plate has a cost as of any date; purchase orders and receiving at a known cost; the POS's sales depleting stock through the recipes; waste, transfers, prep batches and physical counts by storage area; usage periods showing actual against theoretical with every bucket; and the projection — expected sales exploded through recipes into expected usage, projected stock per ingredient per day, and one suggested order per supplier for its next delivery with the arithmetic on every line. Every restaurant is a site. Two shipped agents, the Kitchen Inventory Expert and the Purchasing agent, answer and draft; sending a purchase order pauses for a person.
This is an application of the MaluDB Business OS. It runs on your office's server, not on a desktop. People open it from the OS launcher after a super-admin grants them access; on an enrolled MaluOS Desktop it also appears in the MaluApps window as a launcher.
Install
On a MaluDB Business OS server
- Sign in to the OS as a super-admin and note the domain the kernel serves.
sudo git clone https://github.com/maludb/maludb-os-restaurant-inventory /srv/apps/restaurant_inventoryphp /var/www/bin/app_install.php plan /srv/apps/restaurant_inventory --by <super-admin email> --domain <domain>- Read the plan. It is read-only and lists the database, virtual host, services and agent the installer will create.
sudo php /var/www/bin/app_install.php apply /srv/apps/restaurant_inventory --by <super-admin email> --domain <domain>- The application appears in the launcher for everyone who is granted access, and its expert agent is hired in Agent HR.
