About
The business's webmail over its MaluMail mailboxes, for people and for the OS's agents: conversations across folders, search with Gmail's operators, mail shown safely with remote images on request, compose with undo send, schedule send and drafts, labels, stars and snooze, and mailboxes their owners share at view, triage, send or full, every look by another person logged. People oversee their agents' mail: an agent's outgoing mail is held for review by its overseers until they widen its policy, mail from unknown outside senders waits for a person before an agent sees it, and arriving mail reaches an agent as fenced, untrusted text. The super-admins create mailboxes and forwarding addresses without leaving the OS. The Mail Expert answers and drafts from the command bar; the Mail Clerk sends the overseers a morning note.
This is an application of the MaluDB Business OS. It runs on your office's server, not on a desktop. People open it from the OS launcher after a super-admin grants them access; on an enrolled MaluOS Desktop it also appears in the MaluApps window as a launcher.
Install
On a MaluDB Business OS server
- Sign in to the OS as a super-admin and note the domain the kernel serves.
sudo git clone https://github.com/maludb/maludb-os-malumail /srv/apps/malumailphp /var/www/bin/app_install.php plan /srv/apps/malumail --by <super-admin email> --domain <domain>- Read the plan. It is read-only and lists the database, virtual host, services and agent the installer will create.
sudo php /var/www/bin/app_install.php apply /srv/apps/malumail --by <super-admin email> --domain <domain>- The application appears in the launcher for everyone who is granted access, and its expert agent is hired in Agent HR.
