About
The MaluDB Python API server: a REST/JSON gateway over a MaluDB memory database (subjects, memories, documents, episodes, skills, principals, MCP, model prompts). Tokens are minted against PostgreSQL logins and kept in a local auth store. Runs as the maludb-api system user on 127.0.0.1:8000 by default. Also available as a PHP (LAMP) server and a Node Fastify server from the same organisation.

Install
On MaluOS Server
- Provisioned on first boot by the maluos-api metapackage. To add it by hand:
sudo apt install maludb-apicurl -s http://127.0.0.1:8000/health
Not on MaluOS? Add the repository first: curl -fsSL https://apt.maluos.com/bootstrap/install-maluos.sh | sudo bash. Packages are signed with the MaluOS archive key; how to verify.
